A Massage Therapy Space Designed for Real People

At Peacefully Nourished, we know that many people have had difficult experiences in healthcare settings.

We are committed to creating a space that is welcoming, respectful, accessible, and affirming for all bodies, identities, and lived experiences.

Weight-Inclusive & Body Respectful

We are a fat-friendly, weight-inclusive practice.

Our commitment is to provide healthcare without shame, judgment, or assumptions about health based on body size.

To support accessibility and comfort:
  • Treatment table weight capacities are clearly communicated.
  • We are actively expanding our equipment options to support clients requiring higher-capacity treatment tables. To have tables that are extra-wide to provide greater comfort and support.
  • Positioning accommodations are welcomed and encouraged.

You never need to apologize for your body here.

Pregnancy-Friendly Care

A pregnancy belly pillow is available when requested at the time of booking.

This allows many pregnant clients the option of comfortably lying face down during treatment if that feels best for their body. Alternative positioning options are always available as well.

Family-Friendly Care

Life doesn't always make childcare easy.

Babies and young children are welcome to attend appointments when needed. We also keep toys, colouring supplies, and simple activities available to help little ones stay occupied during your visit.

Neurodiversity-Affirming & Sensory-Friendly

We recognize that everyone experiences their body, healthcare, and sensory environments differently.

To support a more comfortable experience:
  • Intake forms include space for preferred names and pronouns.
  • Clients can share body-related language preferences.
  • Accommodation requests are welcomed.
  • Many treatment rooms include fidget tools and sensory supports available for use during appointments.

We believe healthcare works best when people feel safe enough to show up exactly as they are.

A Little More Time to

Healing doesn't always happen the moment treatment ends.

Clients are welcome to enjoy a coffee, herbal tea, water, a light snack, or simply a few quiet moments after their appointment before returning to the rest of their day.

We hope our space feels less like a clinic and more like a place where you can breathe a little easier.
