Peacefully Nourished will have a brick-and-mortar (well, technically wood and barn steel) location on an active cash crop farm on the west side of Lindsay. It is located at 1407 Elm Tree Road, a less than 8-minute drive from downtown Lindsay.
Over the past 5 years, Atheana and her husband have been working diligently on opening a physical space for Peacefully Nourished and a body-inclusive yoga space. After re-zoning, filing official plan amendments and completing the renovation we are now officially done!
Picture two separate businesses that share similar values and intentions, housed within a newly renovated steel barn.
This is Kawartha Lakes’ first yoga studio located on an active crop farm in Lindsay. Not simply a body-inclusive yoga studio that welcomes all abilities, body shapes and yoga experiences (although that’s something to celebrate!), it’s also a much-needed space to connect with nature. Surrounded by panoramic views of fields and forests, restoration awaits. Here you’ll feel supported in your wellness journey, balancing your nervous system with deep rest, attunement and gentle movement.
A collaborative and inclusive team of health care providers and self-care advocates. Supporting your body, mind, and spirit through intentional health care that fosters your individual definition of wellness. Working from a HAES (Health At Every Size), non-diet, trauma informed and body inclusive practice paradigms. The space and providers are truly intentional with being client centered and value lived experience.
Both businesses hosted in a red steel barn.
