Rae is a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals in building more compassionate and sustainable relationships with food, body, and self. Her work is grounded in a non-diet, body-inclusive lens and informed by lived experience with eating disorder recovery, bringing both professional knowledge and deep empathy to the therapeutic space.
She works with adults (18+) navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic dieting, as well as concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout. Rae is especially passionate about supporting women and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, and strives to create a space that is affirming, collaborative, and rooted in respect for each client’s unique lived experience.
In addition to her private practice work, Rae works part-time with the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC), where she continues to deepen her commitment to accessible, compassionate eating disorder support and advocacy.
Her approach is warm, down-to-earth, and relational. Rae believes that healing doesn’t come from trying to “fix” yourself, but from getting curious about your experiences, reconnecting with your needs and values, and learning to meet yourself with more kindness. Therapy together might look like gently unpacking old patterns, building self-trust, and finding ways to move through life that feel more aligned and sustainable.
Outside of work, Rae enjoys hiking and paddle boarding with her dog, watching reruns of Supernatural, playing board games, and crafting with friends.
