Atheana Brown RD

Atheana is a proud non-diet, body-inclusive, fat-positive and trauma-informed Registered Dietitian. She practices within the Health at Every Size (HAES®) framework and is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor.

She has over a decade of experience working in primary  and long-term care supporting all ages, stages of care and various health conditions. She thrives in team-based environments and is highly skilled in applying medical nutrition therapy.

Atheana works with all individuals looking to improve their relationships with food and body. Her goal is to help break the generational cycle of dieting and body shame. A world exists where food doesn’t have to be complicated, overwhelming and forbidden. Through a connected, collaborative and compassionate approach, clients can break free of diet culture and find self-compassion and value-aligned worth. The result? Food can feel more satisfying, nourishing and simple.

Outside of work, Atheana adores spending time in nature, trying new food with her partner and chasing after her three young kids.

Our Values

Rae Slezak (she/her)

Registered Psychotherapist

Located in Lindsay + Virtually Across Ontario

Rae is a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals in building more compassionate and sustainable relationships with food, body, and self. Her work is grounded in a non-diet, body-inclusive lens and informed by lived experience with eating disorder recovery, bringing both professional knowledge and deep empathy to the therapeutic space.

She works with adults (18+) navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, and chronic dieting, as well as concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout. Rae is especially passionate about supporting women and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, and strives to create a space that is affirming, collaborative, and rooted in respect for each client’s unique lived experience.

In addition to her private practice work, Rae works part-time with the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC), where she continues to deepen her commitment to accessible, compassionate eating disorder support and advocacy.

Her approach is warm, down-to-earth, and relational. Rae believes that healing doesn’t come from trying to “fix” yourself, but from getting curious about your experiences, reconnecting with your needs and values, and learning to meet yourself with more kindness. Therapy together might look like gently unpacking old patterns, building self-trust, and finding ways to move through life that feel more aligned and sustainable.

Outside of work, Rae enjoys hiking and paddle boarding with her dog, watching reruns of Supernatural, playing board games, and crafting with friends.
